Country Roots - Mini Music Fest

Join PHNX, a group of seven Shropshire vocalists, for a fantastic evening celebrating the very best of country music.

Enjoy over two hours of live entertainment featuring more than 30 country hits from artists including Luke Combs, Taylor Swift, Chris Stapleton, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton and many more.

The evening includes a private bar, food, country-themed quiz, raffles, a Best Dressed Country Competition and a singalong finale.

Journey - A Musical Theatre Concert

Saturday 24th October 2026 - Maidment Building, Shrewsbury School, SY3 8SA

Phoenix Productions presents Journey, an evening of musical theatre storytelling performed live to grand piano accompaniment in the beautiful setting of the Maidment Music Hall, Shrewsbury School.

This is the first in a new series of concerts from Phoenix Productions, raising money for local charities, starting with the Lingen Davies Sunflower Appeal.

Featuring performers from across Shropshire, Journey moves through favourites from musical theatre history, including Guys and Dolls, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Hadestown, Everybody's Talking About Jamie and The Greatest Showman. Linked together with narration, the programme mixes ballads with some of the more upbeat, lively numbers.

Your ticket includes a glass of fizz on arrival, with refreshments available throughout the evening.
